My Writing Group Rocks!

I stacked all of the books published by members of my writing group, better known as the Peeps. I like this visual proof of all we’ve accomplished!

The three books with no titles on their spines are Wombat Chow of the Damned, Festival at Naval Headquarters! and How to Report a Coal Mining Problem by Donovan Reves. These are collections of short fiction and poetry: www.amazon.com/Wombat-Chow-Damned-collection-fiction/dp/1448644984.

In Making Do, Liz Hilvers wrote about growing up in the Los Angeles area during the Great Depression: http://www.amazon.com/Making-Do-Liz-Hilvers/dp/1453751556/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1332180688&sr=1-1.
Martha Sargent, with Smokin' Joe, was the rare Peep to publish fiction: http://www.amazon.com/Smokin-Joe-Martha-S-Sargent/dp/0982523009.
Memoir from Carol Bosworth titled Born Breech Into Covenant:
I wrote Dusty Boots, a biography of my dad that I like to call an American story, one man's story, a love story: http://www.amazon.com/Dusty-Boots-Dakota-Cowboy-Dad/dp/1448623308.
Bill Upton wrote Pizza and Mortars, a memoir of his service in Viet Nam: http://vietnammemoir.com/index.html.
Sadly, I found no links to The Epic Tale of Fred & Max by Ken Fraundorf. This is the book that started it all, and the writer we miss still, since his death from cancer in 2005.

Look for more books coming soon from the Peeps!

  1. The Peeps rock! I haven't been in forever, but I hope to soon. I sure miss seeing your writing, Mar.
